Keep In Touch

My 25yr old niece flew off for an exciting year in New York today & I've been caught off guard by how much I'm going to miss her. She is a funny, interesting, nice person & I really enjoy her company. She is also a great influence to have around my daughters. 20+ years ago, I moved to NY & my hopes & dreams have been fulfilled because of that move. I wish that & more for my niece, and my dog has gas. OXOX

It's been 14 or so years since we've been to S.F. and the girls, never. We will go up Hgwy 1 so they can see the ocean and experience the drive. My better half is taking his van and he insists on taking the DVD player along so they don't have to suffer the glorious views and actually see a twisted, wind worn juniper tree. I, on the other hand, think they should try a car trip without the electronic goodies and see what it's like. They're 18 & 19, and it's been a very long time since they've driven anywhere without entertainment. I'm sure the DVD player will go. Our fur bunny (soft coated wheaten terrier) goes to "luxury boarding", which he loves because he gets to play with all the other dogs. He is so "pooped" when he gets home, he just sleeps for two days. It's going to be a short trip but we are all really looking forward to it since we didn't get away all summer and my dog has gas. OXOX
